Monticiano Farms

Regenerative Farm in Floyd County, Virginia

Building soil health, growing heritage varieties, and nourishing our community through regenerative agriculture. We are dedicated to sustainable agriculture practices that restore the land while producing vibrant, local seedlings and nutrient-rich food.

Our Regenerative Practices

Healthy Soil

Soil Health

We prioritize soil biology through minimal disturbance and cover cropping, creating a thriving ecosystem beneath our feet.

Open-Pollinated Varieties

Preserving biodiversity by growing and saving seeds from open-pollinated plants adapted to our Appalachian climate.

Nutrient Cycling

Closing the loop by composting on-farm waste and using animal impact to fertilize our fields naturally.
